Christmas Pictures

Here is a narrative of Ma trying to take our picture beneath the Christmas tree:

I'm all set and ready - Caroline's eating the tree...
Ma gets Carol to stop, but she doesn't really know she's getting her picture taken:
Ma calls Caroline to try and get her attention, so Caroline comes and gives the camera a smooch:
Ah, she finally gets it: It's picture taking time! I'm blinking:
The cat walks by:
Finally! Decent material to work with (good thing too...I'm running low on patience w/ C - *note* I've been good the whole time):
Merry Week of Christmas!

Chester and Caroline Go on a Car Trip

I can't believe I forgot to tell all of your dear furiends about a lovely trip Caroline and I took to the mountains the week before Thanksgiving! Guess I was too caught up in the packing and such... We had heaps of fun! Just look:
I love overlooks! It means we get to get out of the car and explore and enjoy the scenery!
Yum, I can just taste Autumn in the air!
So let it be known blogland, that I, Chester the Bichon Frise, do hereby claim all the trashcans on the Blue Ridge Parkway as my very own property.
At one overlook, we got out and went on a little hike and found....
...THIS! What a view! Made me want to burst into song, "I'm on the, top of the wooorld looking, down on creation and the..." oh, sorry got a little carried away. Inspirational though, no?
We found this super cool lean-to up there too. Here are Pa and Caroline doing some exploring of it.
Well, that's about it. Thanks for coming along on our little road trip! After this, the sun started setting and we turned around to head for home. It was a super fun day...I hope we get to go on another trip soon! (hint, hint Ma)

'Tis the Season...

...to play tug o' war under the Christmas tree! All those twinkly lights add so much ambiance to one of our favorite games. By the by, I always win at tug o' war. Sometimes I let Caroline think she's winning for a little while, but then I use my amazingly strong neck muscles to clinch my victories! Check out this form:

Ma's Fluffy Helper

So this year, Ma has been totally dragging her feet when it comes to changing over her clothes over from summer to winter in her closet. I tell ya. I've been walking past this pile of "needs to be ironed and hung up" for ages now. Just look! It's taller than me!

Been driving me crazy. So the other day, I took matters into my own paws, and helped Ma go through her clothes...getting rid of what she didn't want anymore, etc...
Then, I even helped her iron them.
Yes, I know it's close to Christmas, and yes, I am hoping for lots of great chewies, but really, I promise I had no ulterior motives. I was doing it purely out of the goodness of my heart! Humans. Don't know how they get along without us!
